You should probably read my other piece on Klein's proposed new health legislation first.
Klein claims: the public health system will pay new private hospitals to do surgeries.
Klein claims: quality won't suffer.
Klein claims: the new private hospitals will cut down on waiting lists and perform more surgeries than the public system can.
Fact: Alberta spends the least per capita on health care and there are no budgetary plans to improve this anytime soon.
So, with no additional money for the public system, and with additional public servants needed to regulate the new private facilities, how will all these new surgeries will be performed at no additional cost to the patient?
