Christmas Election

So it seems that a leading argument for not nuking the Martin government right about now is because that will make for a Christmas election. Which means that while everyone in the country has a whole lot of time off to, oh, read about election issues we shouldn't have an election?

Eh? What we should do is give people two weeks off everytime there is an election so they don't vote alphabetically [1]
