Doublespeak
In these times of war, it's pretty unpatriotic to not beat the war drums, apparently, but after a few too many glasses of Victory Gin, one can barely help it. C'mon gang! Let's go fuck for virginity after we deliver peace and democracy via high-altitude depleted uranium ordinance!
Diplomacy: The Bush Administration has re-defined what ``diplomacy'' means. It used to mean getting together with a bunch of other leaders and hashing out some common ground. Now, it means hammering out agreement with the United States via various strong-arm tactics like bribery, threats of aid loss, threats of economic or military violence, ... If you don't agree with the US, ``diplomacy fails'' and they do what they want.
Defence: It used to be that ``defence'' referred to actually repelling an attack or stopping an attack which was to start imminently. No more! Now you can defend yourself by preemptively invading other nations. Doupleplusfantastic! War is peace!
Terrorist: Long ago and far away, a ``terrorist'' was someone or some group who engaged in violence against civilian populations for some type of political end. Now, the US military is calling the guerilla defence of Iraq by Iraqis ``terrorism''. Certainly, disguising oneself as a civilian and blowing yourself up isn't ``by the books'', international-law-wise but it sure as fuck isn't ``terrorism''. Neither is reckless hegemony and the invasion of other countries ``by the books'', though, so I guess we've learned a valuable lesson the hardest possible way: when the gloves are off, the gloves are off. Sorry folks: war sucks and invaded nations can probably be counted on to do ``whatever it takes'' to repel invaders.
War is Peace: with talk of nominating Bush and Blair for the Nobel Peace Prize, now has never been a better time to fuck for virginity, uhm, fight for peace. Long live the Minstry of Peace! War is Peace!
...: until thoughtcrime is impossible, I'm sure more words will become casualties of the ``indefinitly long'' global War On Terrorism™ (porn the whole family can watch).
