Mercury-in-fish global health problem
Pregnant women (or women planning to get pregnant at any point) should avoid fish, most especially larger predators (tuna, etcetera) and carefully monitor intake of other fish like perch and salmon.
On average, three times more mercury is falling from the sky today than before the Industrial Revolution 200 years ago, the researchers said.
