Settler-era Sourdough Starter
Cool! Someone named Carl has been preserving a sourdough starter passed on to through his family. It is thought to date to from the mid-1800's.
For the "price" of a self-addressed-stamed envelope, volunteers will send you a bit of it so you may start your own. Very cool!
