An awesome climb with Florian up the Gmoser Route (III, 5.8) on Mt Louis. Almost perfect weather (if a little hot at times) with sun all day and very little wind. Very dehydrating.

Some inconsiderate fool (turns out it was guide Mark Klassen) has bolted every single anchor, alas.

Going too far down the trail gave us a great first glimpse of the objective
Getting closer; great view of the dihedral pitch highlighted by the sun
Three-image zoomed panorama of the above; looks a bit squashed (but higher rez if you zoom in).
One of the bolted anchors low-down.
Heavily processed shot of Cory Pass; very cool trail!
Florian starting out the 4th pitch towards the base of the dihedral.
Dihedral...
...means lots of stemming
Just about to join the Kain route (this is the gully you rap down into on the Kain).
Self portrait after gaining the "clean rib on the South face".
Florian hamming it up in the same spot
Summit tower; the Perrin Crack is the one on the right. Lots of fixed pins and a bolt.
Panorama with dehydrated Florian just below and east of the summit.
Money shot on the summit.
Florian Summit: panoramic portrait of Florian checking out the register.
Processed summit portrait.
Descneding; this is the 50m rappel after the climb into a notch.
